Tavli is a type of Backgammon match popular in Greece , Macedonia and Georgia. The first game of the match is Backgammon, followed by a game of Plakato, then a game of Gul Bara. The winner of the last game rolls first on the next game. No doubling cube is used ,and gammons count as two games. The players continue playing these games in consecutive order until one player the agreed number of games. A match is usually 3,5, or 7 games.
The changing of games adds an entertaining challenge to a match. Be sure to try it next time you have your Backgammon board out.
